Although a bit behind the times, I would like to tell you about an event held on September 24th. On that date it was opened in Milan STILL, a new space dedicated to photography. Denis Curti – coordinator of the project and important italian photography critic- decided to present as first exhibition”Scene da un matrimonio” (Scenes from a Marriage), a retrospective of my work and Francesco Cito’s. An incredible choice in my opinion: exploring the theme of the wedding photography, often relegated to the background, was in my opinion bold but at the same time an innovative move: finally shots of ceremonies were presented as art . A goal that I never thought I could have reached and that now has become a reality.
