A night in Venice
Often I happen to work in Venice for wedding photo services and I must admit that, despite my numerous visits to the city, its charm remains unchanged to me. I began to shoot Venice since the first times I started photographing and I always felt a strong pulse to do so, I have the feeling that Venice reveals each time different aspects and at the same time it always conceals something. Last November I shoot a wedding in Venice and the previous night I got out from my hotel and wondered on my own in the city carrying my camera. The City looked almost desert and there were no tourists around, so I cruised on the ‘vaporetti’ with no specific destination in my mind. I took these photos with this vague impressionistic atmosphere, thinking about an emotional use of colour and movement.
I hope you like them, and please do let me know what you think about them.
Carlo
