Carlo Carletti was born in 1966 in Tuscany (Italy) where he lives and works. After important publications on the Tuscan Landscape he focused his attention on Wedding Photography with special attention to a photojournalistic approach. Carlo has photographed numerous weddings throughout Italy and Europe and his work has appeared in several prestigious magazines. In 2010 The Wedding Photojournalistic Association (WPJA) names him for the second time “Photographer of the Year 2009” (the first was in 2006). He is the only photographer in the world to win for the second time this prize, the most representative international award in wedding photography. Carlo has been a proud member of WPJA since 2005. Throughout the years, he’s built a nice collection of award-winning images, and received numerous accolades for his work. In 2010 the international magazine JM – Just Married selects him among world’s five best international photographers and publishes a comprehensive article on his work and in the same year Best of Wedding Photography Association recognizes him with the “Lens & Light Honor”. In 2009 he was selected by the Italian publishing house DeAgostini as the most representative Italian photographer in wedding photojournalism for a tutorial interview published on a DVD editorial issue. In July 2008 Kodak Pro Magazine (USA edition) published an important interview on his work as international wedding photographer. In 2006 “American PHOTO” magazine published and awarded his ceremony photographs in the international ‘Images of the Year 2006’ contest. In 2005 the art and trends “Kult” Magazine selected him among the 4 most important international photographers in wedding photography, by publishing a special edition on this topic (April 2005 issue). He travels throughout Italy and Europe for top target wedding photo services. The spirit constantly animating his work is the narration of the wedding as a story that participates to the utmost intimate life of people, and is therefore unique, authentic and extraordinary.

Carlo Carletti vive e lavora in Toscana, dove è nato nel 1966. Dopo alcune pubblicazioni riguardanti la fotografia del territorio si è occupato di fotografia di Cerimonia con approccio reportagistico fotografando matrimoni in Italia ed Europa. Nel Marzo 2010 è stato proclamato per la seconda volta Fotografo dell’Anno dall’americana WPJA (Wedding Photojournalist Association). Carlo è l’unico fotografo al Mondo a vincere due volte questo importantissimo titolo avendolo già ricevuto nell’anno 2006. Sempre nel 2010 la Wedding Photography Association gli riconosce il titolo “Lens&Light Honor” nel mese di Settembre. Nello stesso anno la rivista JM lo inserisce nella top 5 dei più importanti fotografi internazionali di cerimonia presentando numerose sue foto in un edizione speciale sull’argomento. Nel 2009 la Casa Editrice De Agostini lo sceglie in esclusiva come fotografo di riferimento per il dvd del “Corso di Fotografia Digitale” riguardante la fotografia di Cerimonia, pubblicando una lunga intervista sul suo lavoro. Nel 2008 Kodak Pro Magazine (versione USA) pubblica un intervista ,accompagnata da alcune fotografie, riguardante il suo lavoro di fotografo di cerimonia internzionale. All’inizio del 2007gli viene assegnato per la prima volta il titolo di “Fotografo dell’Anno 2006” dall’americana WPJA (Wedding Photojournalist Association). Nel 2006 la rivista ” American PHOTO” pubblica le sue foto di cerimonia tra le foto dell’anno nel suo speciale ‘Images of the Year 2006’. Nel 2005 il mensile internazionale KULT lo seleziona tra i 4 più importanti fotografi di cerimonia al Mondo, pubblicando le sue foto nel numero di Aprile.
